Pikes Peak Hemi Cuda on eBay
By Brian Lohnes
BangShift.com
Someday I’d love to be able to run the Pikes Peak hillclimb, ass-out in an old musclecar like they did in the old days. Don’t believe they ran stuff like Hemi Cudas up that cliffhanging 12-mile climb from 9,400 to 14,100 feet? Well, you gotta believe, because you could own it!
The eBay auction seen here is for what is said to be a real 1970 Hemi Cuda that was prepped for the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb in 1972 with a chassis by NASCAR builder Mike Wooley. The eBay page is packed with historic info that you really must read.
I’d buy this Cuda and throw any motor into it I had to so I could make noise on the dirt. Soooo cool!

You can run Pikes Peak in a vintage muscle car or La Carrera Panamericana car. Last years marked the first year that muscle cars returned to Pikes Peak as a result of our La Carrera Panamericana cars being invited. Because of such a good turn out and the popularity of them with the spectators we have been asked to come back again this year so even a better turnout is expected this year.
Here you can see some video of us last year… http://lacarrera2007.blogspot.com/2008/07/good-video-of-la-carrera-cars-at-pikes.html
