LOL! neither of this Junks does it for me, to many lights on the dashboard going off, lesson learned this cars electrical systems are a joke and problems surfacing way 2 early for my taste.I’ll pass them both thank you I don’t feel like giving away months of payments while the car seats at the dealer waiting for the parts 2 come from Germany or play the trivia game trying 2 figure out what goes wrong. SORRY BMW AND MERCEDES my money goes 2 Lexus the fabulous IS-F Proven reliability Germans can only dream of. Case Closed

ive owned a bmw… lost so much money on it, most unreliable car ive ever owned. now i have a lexus. i would choose the benz out of the two, just for a change of pace. it looks great murdered out too.

I agree with BRADJOLLY. I really like the AMG, BUT with ONLY the OPTION of AUTO with PADDLES, I CAN’T DO IT. Sooooo….M3 WINS IT WITH ME. With CARS like these, YOU gotta have a MANUAL GEAR BOX, ITS ONLY RIGHT !!!

actually the sedan doesnt have the carbon fiber top..and wasn’t on top gear. Coupe = m3

BMW M3, hands down, watch top gear. The M3 corners better, looks way better, has a carbon fiber roof, its less expensive. More parts are made for m3s than mercs, need i go on?

seeing as how i have seen both of these handle around corners, id have to take the bmw, granted it has less horsepower but it is really stable in the corners and the it looks amazing. at least it comes with an optional manual. on the otherhand if it was the amg black, that would be a whole different story.

whatever happened to BMW, i think da older Bimmers were 10 X more original and pure,, bmw fell of after 2004,, with soft line and curves , BMW always was about strong line and dimensions,, ( 2002 M3) or da E36 and sht,, they too soft and lost their original design.. AMG defitnly!!!

M3 hands down. yes the c63 is a bit faster in a straight line. Around the track however the m3 is shown to have much better lap times and the car handles like it was on rails around turns. m3 is a better build car as well and it has a proper manual gearbox… A LOT LESS UGLY CHROME, i feel like the merc is pure chrome ahaha, and besides, all the new mercs’ aren’t build like they use to be…

BMW, without even thinking–automatics phail. If the question was between an M3, RS4 and a CTS-V or something (all of which come in a stick), I’d have a much harder time choosing. Someone cited the C-class over the 3 and noted, “Class, speed, and performance.” Doesn’t the M3 have that too my friend? That doesn’t seem like a good foundation for a strong argument imo. The ONLY car I may make an exception to my stringent stick-only-purchases rule would be for the NEW Jaguar XF-R because I love the aggressive looks without all of the ostentatious-ness of the silly bumper ripples of the C63 or fender vents of the M3 or CTS-V. But I’m sure if I drove it, the missing pedal would outweigh those pros for me and I’d default to something with a proper manual gearbox.

C-Class, the best looking Benz in my opinion. Plus I would never buy a sedan 3-Series, they should only be 2 door. Leave the sedan to 5 and 7 series.

AMG all the way! Class, speed, performance. I’ve driven both. C63 is much nicer.

ALSO, BMW’s M-Double clutch has software issues! BIG TIME! I know of 3 owners who signed contracts with BMW not to say anything on the forums and they traded their Double Clutch with manuals.

C63 is my pick.

BMW. A little power is sacrificed, but it’s just flat out better. I’ve always loved the M3s. It looks and drives better. Plus it has an available Manual Transmission, which justifies it alone.
