I would not necessarily count the Golden Hawk as a muscle car but I would say that its power to weight ratio definately pointed to the early 60′s when the first true muscle cars were being produced. I have always liked the styling of the Hawk. I wonder what a current rendition of that front end would look like.

I did the 1963 Super Hawk, with the Avanti r-2 Engine. This is th e original Golden Hawk… almost the same body, earlier rendiion.
