He’s planning “a top end rebuild on the motor with hardened valve seats so I can run unleaded gas.” I’ve been running unleaded in my Mopar with the original valve seats for years with no issue. John,thanks for the comment.Actually,I have friends that are great locators of hard to find Cadillac parts.This is my fifth Cadillac.I’ve had a 1977 Cadillac Superior Hearse,a 1972 Coupe DeVille that was an import killer,a 1973 Cadillac Coupe DeVille(another import killer),and briefly owned a 1962 Sedan DeVille.the ’72 and ’73 were both bopasting 472 cubic inch V8′s pushing almost 5oo HP each,and torque was somewhere around 645.I’ve always been able to find parts for the Cadillacs.

Hey JDM,you know what’s “ghey”?Spending a small fortune to get an DOHC 4 cylinder to put out 325 HP,and you’re still stuck with less torque than my motor stock.You know what else is “ghey”?Cookie cutter inports that all look the same no matter how many mods you do.Old classic rides have soul,they have a certain appeal to them way far than any plastic import.And don’t get me wrong,I love classic imports.By the way,the story behind the bunny is that it was in the back seat when i went to take a look at it at my friends house.We worked a deal,but as a joke I told him I wouldn’t take the car unless the bunny is included.Oh,JDM,the motor on this car puts out 325 HP and 430 Torque stock.What’s yours rated at stock?And how much have you spent on motor mods?How much HP and Torque are you at now?By the way,only 14 year old little girls type “ghey”

pretty “ghey”? What are you jealous your car isn’t getting shown on the C/D blog? Oh BTW nice Cadillac I had a 1965 Coupe De Ville back in the day, what a hell of a car to find parts for!
