Dead Guy Takes Final Lap During His Final Ride
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
Race fan Michael Owen, who once relocated so he could qualify for season tickets at Brands Hatch raceway in the UK, took a final lap around his beloved home track last week–in a hearse. Yep, the dead guy had arranged to have his cavalcade lap the track during his funeral procession. That’s nice and everything, but I guess it goes without saying that some things are better enjoyed alive. Read all about it here.

That’s the way to do it!!! I’m only 21, but I figured when the day comes, either tomorrow or in 60 years, I wanna go out in a Hot Rod Lincoln with a big ol chrome tower coming out of the hood. My Mustang and Spirit R/T will lead the way and the rest of my fleet will follow me. Why a Lincoln??? Well, ”
It’s got a Lincoln motor and it’s really souped up
That Model A body makes it look like a pup
It’s got eight cylinders, uses them all
It’s got overdrive, just won’t stall
With a 4-barrel carb and a dual exhaust
With 4.11 gears you can really get lost
It’s got safety tubes, but I ain’t scared
The brakes are good, tires fair”
