Camaro SS vs. Challenger R/T vs. Mustang GT: Which Looks Best?
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
Ok, so Motor Trend picked the Camaro as the overall winner in their pony car comparo. But they refused to pick a winner in the style category. So which car do you think looks the best? Vote in our poll and then let us know your thoughts in the comments!

The Mustang looks like the bisexual friend in a group, the Challenger looks stoned, but the Camaro, it’s got my heart. Don’t get me wrong, the Challenger looks mean and powerful, and I have to agree with the guy below me when he said the Mustang is just a badge.
I find it funny how little votes the Mustang has.

Challenger is perfect. the camaro is over done already. the mustang is just a badge now, it needs to catch up with the big boys.

Dboy23,
The only top end model is the Camaro SS. The GT is only the mid model to the Mustang. The top end model Mustang is the Shelby GT500…

I think this is not fair at all. They’re comparing the top end model Ford and Chevy but not the top Dodge (SRT8), anyone else see a problem with this?

The Camaro doesn’t look good without stripes. The Challenger looks really good in general, and stripes are a bonus. The Mustang looks great with the right wheels on it. I had to pick one though, I’d have to go with the rear wheel drive sports car

Obviously I picked the best choice which is the Mustang, but I’m glad this question isn’t asked to a room full of people like us. Just think about the fighting that would go on there

I’ve got to go with the Challenger.

I chose the Challenger as the best looking. I surely agree that it is too big, but it is well proportioned and has very nice body lines. The Camaro is just…well ugly in my opinion. I like the way the Mustang looks quite a lot, but it doesn’t appeal to my eye quite like the Challenger.

the only mustang that looks mean is the 1970 boss. GM just sucks poor quality i dont know about the camaro but my dads freind had a tahoe and his kid slammed the door and the door handle broke off..so im going with the challenger.
ps my dad has plenty of other bad stories with GM cars

The mustang is still just a mustang, everyone has them and the challenger isn’t quite mean enough. So i’m going with the camaro

The Challenger’s not to big to be a muscle car, it’s smaller than my Charger, which I have not heard anyone argue that it’s not a musclecar. It’s about 8 inches shorter, it is a few inches taller though. I do like the look of the new Camero, but I’m gonna have to say the Challenger looks best, I have a soft spot for mopars.

Challenger takes it for me. The mustang just doesn’t look mean enough to be a musclecar, never really has for me (unless your talking about mid 70′s), and the Camaro’s back end just leaves something to be desired.

well it depends on what your looking for, the challenger is the closest overall to what the old 70 challenger looked like, but the front of the camaro just looks mean as hell, so me presonally i think the camaro looks the best and thats not just because im a chevy guy, i just like the mean look

Mustangs are like navels everyone has them? They’ve been out since late 04 so I’d hope there’d be quite a few. The Challenger is a beautiful car but its GIGANTIC and I have a hard time telling myself that it is a muscle car. The Camaro looks to me like what a muscle car should be and that goes for the Mustang as well, Dodge got the look right but the car it way too big.

Challenger has all the lines and attitude of a classic muscle car, while still having modern features.

Challenger looks great in pictures, but when you stand next to it..its just so huge..but oddly in a good way
