1971 Plymouth Road Runner Van

By Rob Einaudi

Photoshop? Or not? Courtesy of VWVortex.

Update: I have confirmed that it’s a photoshop done by a Danish member of the Road Runner Nest who posts as “Capsule.” I just did a follow up post with some of his other awesome chops.

[...] a guy who goes by the name Capsule, deserves credit not only for the work, but also for the idea of turning a Road Runner into a van. I hope to see more such chops with other muscle [...]

I have to say from a creative stand point it is interesting but from an artistic stand point it looks like someone slapped four wheels onto a balooga whale.

Mar 27, 2009 at 5:05 am

Mar 27, 2009 at 4:41 am

Mar 26, 2009 at 12:46 pm

Mar 26, 2009 at 12:17 pm

Mar 26, 2009 at 11:22 am

i dont know but i think its real because how can you photoshop somethin that good but i did notice you can see the steering wheel if you look hard enough and it dont look like it at the right angle and if they did photoshop it they had alot of time on their hands

Mar 26, 2009 at 10:34 am

Mar 25, 2009 at 9:26 pm

warning: do not turn corners any faster then 30 kmh otherwise the car might roll

Mar 25, 2009 at 9:16 pm

Um it is a nice photoshop and to all you people who cant read it even says its photoshopped in the article duh, though i do have to say nice job on the photoshop itself cool idea if you ask me.

Mar 25, 2009 at 7:57 pm

It’s easy to tell it’s fake. There’s no way someone could fit up front, let alone get the door open from the way it’s designed. I don’t see a steering wheel either.

Mar 25, 2009 at 7:52 pm

i like!

Mar 25, 2009 at 4:21 pm

haha thats funny. I don’t think they took a roadrunner and did that, probably just a custom van with a roadrunner grille and some mag rims.

Mar 25, 2009 at 4:07 pm

the mystery machines uncle no one talks about!!!

Mar 25, 2009 at 1:28 pm

I guess the back seats of the Roadrunner weren’t big enough to cuddle.

Mar 25, 2009 at 12:25 pm

While on the subject. Look at this Z28. I like it minus the wing

Mar 25, 2009 at 9:59 am

Mar 25, 2009 at 8:57 am

Mar 25, 2009 at 8:22 am

That’s an awesome van if it’s not photoshopped.

Mar 25, 2009 at 8:16 am

I will say photoshop. A very good photoshop, but a chop none the less.

Mar 25, 2009 at 5:59 am

Oh thanks a lot! You just made me spew coffee out my nose!

Mar 25, 2009 at 5:46 am

I’m confused, but it’s creative!

Mar 25, 2009 at 3:40 am

While I agree that the 71+ chargers are one of my favorite Mopars, I kinda dig this…real or not.
