Fremont Day Three

Since CarDomain HQ moved to car-hating Fremont, I’ve found a whole new slew of things to be paranoid about, but one that never occurred to me was the prospect being towed from un-metered on-street parking. It’s been so long since I’ve had to regularly park any of my cars on the street that I’d forgotten this: you can get towed for having unpaid parking tickets. Any unpaid parking tickets. Crap! What else might they haul you away for? Expired tags? Vinyl top? Excessive pollution? I think I just felt my blood pressure go up a few points. If even this innocent-looking Kia can get jacked, then it’s only a matter of time before one of the CarDomain staff cars gets ticketed or towed. Which of us you think it’ll be?

haha, tow trucks are bad… but wait till you find a nice shiny yellow boot on your car.
…needless to say, it sucks.

Haha, I park ANYWHERE. Then again, my trips lifted so high they’d have to get a flatdeck to get it and that’s a whole lot of effort haha!!

Eh, I don’t mind risking going to jail, but I’ll be DAMNED if I let my car get towed. I’ll make them regret having such a shit job.

I hear you can get towed for still having hub caps.

How come you guys don’t park across the street in all those empty “assigned” parking spots?

I still think you guys should have a loudest exhaust party, just to let the neighbors know you’re there!

I would have said Weston…doesn’t seem like Fremont would take kindly to some of that there “cool parkin’!” however..it appears that he is not a frequenter of the office? haha

I would say Stephanie with the trans-am….it does indeed sound like it would stick out. Best of luck to you all!!

Ryan is out of the question since he’s getting a paid spot, or something like that, and Jen is hidding her car under the PCC parking. Then the focus and Camry have designated spots. I would say Rob’s Volvo, seems like he’s the only one parked out on the street.
