i don’t know why i said brain went to D.R. but at the end of the 1st one brain let dom go that means brain was charged with aiding and abeding a felon so from what your saying that means they let him be a cop after doing that before they cleared his record in the 2nd one, so basically brain went to miami straight from LA, did his thing there and then went back to LA for this one, dom was in the D.R. while brain was in miami and dom went back to LA after brain went back, so like i said this movie was what happened between the 2nd one and tokyo drift, not between the 1st and 2nd one

richter scale – actually your only aprtly right, this movie actually took place between the 2nd one and tokyo drift, brian went on the run cause he let dom go and at the end of the 2nd one they cleared brain of any broken laws so he didn’t go to jail, then he must have went back to LA and worked for the FBI, if you looked at the pre lude for 2 fast 2 furious, it showed brin running straight from LA to miami, from what your saying that means brain ran to the D.R. did all that, broke dom out of the prison bus then went to miami, pus it makes more sense that it takes place after the 2nd movie since and b4 the 3rd since they broke dom out of the prison bus and then they all had to go to tokyo since they’re all felans now, so all in all this movie actually takes place between 2 fast 2 furious and tokyo drift, not between the 1st one and 2 fast 2 furious that you say, i’ve known this since the news about this movie first came out that it takes place between the 2nd and 3rd movie

Just to remind everyone, if u read my comments below I’ve already explained that this is a mid-quel movie (Please read, so you understand that this movie is what took place after part one was made) After the prison break u see at the end of this new fast and furious Bryan goes on the run from the police, hence 2 fast 2 furious, Then Dom goes to Asia while that guy Sean goes to Japan and meets up with Han, Han was in Toyko cause he left Dom in the Dominican Republic, u get Tokyo Drift. Dom shows up in Tokyo at the very end looking to avenge Han’s death.

So I have it on good authority that part 5 will start in Japan right were Tokyo Drift ended, with Dom versus Sean.

I thought it was pretty BA but it doesn’t really explain the time lapse. It shows Han (who died in the last film) and he mentions he was going to take off and he said Tokyo is doing some crazy stuff. And appearantly some time had passed between that scene and the next but doesn’t really explain it very well. Still definately worth seeing.

Yeah, i would have loved to go to the opening, but instead i drove my RV out and went camping from the 1st to the 5th. check out my rv by going to my car list. also, like maffew all the way at the bottom said, im also going to wait till the movie has been out for a while. i also hate large crowds. large crowds keep you from being able to comment out loud, laugh out loud, and so on. but i know this movie will be soooooooooo bad ass.

and to add to my other comment, to the people saying it should have been more about cars like the others, i do agree but if you think about it, the first one was the only one really about cars and racing with a little illegal hijacking, the 2nd one was basically just about trying to arrest the main leader dealing with excasy, the 3rd one was basically about the jap version of the mob but had more racin and more about cars than the 2nd one, so really the 1st one is the only one thats all about cars and racing, im glad though that this one had more of a plot and it did have more racing in this one than the others, just not as much about cars

well i finally watched the movie last night, it was so bad ass, to the people that says they wish it had more imports, well we gave you the first 3, this ones for the muscle, just wish letty wasn’t killed, also i knew they would get dom out of prison since dom was at the end of the 3rd one so thats kind of a hint, so im thinking once they got dom out of the bus they all just went to tokyo, if they make a 5th one thats probably where it will at least start is in tokyo or maybe show what happened between the prison bus and metting sean, but i hope they make a 5th one

Opening sequence… SWEET! Loved Dom’s Grand National! And while I love and respect the imports (Brian’s subtle electric blue Skyline… beautiful, the black/silver STi… cool too, nice black/orange BMW M3 sedan, tons of other hot imports), I liked seeing more American Muscle in this one (two nice ’70 Chevelle’s the Charger R/T from the first film, ’72 Torino, ’70 Plymouth, some sweet new Mustangs, etc…). Disappointed that the “F-Bomb” Firebird only graced the screen for a few shots. Lots of cool trucks too! Great driving/racing sequences!

movie was great ….. but the movie was more of a xxl type deal what happen to the car scene like the first couple of ones really the movie was more of a action packed drug dealing gun play movie was hoping it was have been more into the whole deal it was before racing cars and more cars and more cars they changed the whole theme of it to some type of xxl type movie or DEATH RACE 3.5 stars didnt stick to the concept

This movie had the best cars for sure, come on! chevelle 454!!! charger r/t? skyline? Tons of new s197 mustangs. All they needed was a supra. The movie was great but it should have put more emphasis on the cars. I hope they have another one!!

I work at UNO Chicago grill here in MASS with a theatre right next door drove my sat like always plenty of sweet rides in the parking lot even got compliments on mine no riced out cars all sweet done up rides from imports to oldschool and modern muscle i got to see some amazing rides and told a few about cardomain sad part is the opening day of this movie my coworkers 2002 eclipse got stolen in broad daylight window on the ground in pieces and this eclipse was dented the engine had no power so now he wants to get an evo to replace is stolen car.

I Went to see it opening night, AWSOME MOVIE!! Loved it, and i went to the late show, when we got there, people were burning out. Drifting, Racing, and just having Fun!! Friggin awsome!! when we left, it was the same, but there were a couple of cops patroling, HaHa Great movie, cant wait until the movie comes out! Hey PEOPLE! Check out my 1964 Buick skylark!

Great movie, easily takes first place in the Fast & Furious movies. Great action scenes, and racing scenes. Even though I seen it two days after the premier the theatre was still packed with people to see it. It does set up for another, but if you think about it this one is set between 2 and 3, so 3 is actually what would come next. Still, I can’t wait to see if there will be another one. To sum up it was great and I’m definitely getting the DVD when it hits stores.

I went n saw the movie on saturday. Took my son and my nephews, so no racing for me and plus i mssed the opening shows friday cuz the theater was packed. my car crew went and tried to save me a seat but that wasnt happening. So I had to settle with the matinee show. It was freakin awesome. Im more into the tuner cars but I enjoyed seein all the muscle cars in it. wish there were more tuners tho. great movie, Go see it if you havent. retal gorf

It was the first F&F movie that wasnt so computer generated and wasnt ALL about racing and basically sumed up alot of what has been going between 2 Fast 2 Furious and Tokyo Drift. Of course I loved the movie! How could a girl not love a movie with fast cars, Paul Walker and Vin Diesel!!

Seen it me and about 20 car Buffs,i took my Gn and after the movie had about 5 or 6 kids wondering more about the car.Yes ricers as everyone calls em,one kid ask for a ride,so I gave him one.He came back and told his buddies he is done with RICE…i laughed my ass off.Lot of action for sure in this movie and less cheesy bs ,defintly have to see them all to get the whole story….

best F&F by far. I took my eclipse and when i got to the theater there was like 3 rx8′s and plenty of jdm civics. which i couldnt complain about since they werent riced out. anyway it was a good movie. go see it cuz its worth it.

i drove 2 and a half hours to ny to be with my “car club” guys to go see this. the theater blocked off a section of the parking lot for us and reserved rows of seats for all our people. it was definitely a good time – the movie effin kicked ass. this is my second fav after the 1st one of course i wish there were more on the cars and racing, but the cars that were in it and the race scenes were kick ass. i get chills when dom lifts his cars haha its so badass i’m going to see it again tomorrow haha

every body complains about ricers! ricer this, ricer that…..wake up, the fast and furious franchise is what got the whole ricer thing going! i built a gallant (turbo, nitrous, the works) back in the day. it was fast and had an aluminum wing. needless to say after these movies started coming out i had to ditch the wing. every flea market shopping tastless guy with a car (not just an import) put one of those things on his ride. mustangs, camaros, all stickered up and nowhere to go. its not just imports. people see a movie, they dont have an education, and they try to copy a style they dont have funds for….and thats how it turns out.

Movie was wicked, best one by far in the entire franchise. Just to clarify this movie was a mid-quel movie, That means this is what took place after part 1, the original one. Hence why you saw Han in it when he used to roll with Dom in the Dominican Republic, before he left to go for Tokyo (Tokyo Drift) because Dom had too much heat on him. Director Justin Lin did well this time overall. The only stupid thing that will come out of this is all the young kids are going to go look for old mineshafts and tunnels to race their cars in now. Watch, it’ll happen.

Loved it, probably going to see it again. But cmon people stop with the “ricer comments” thats basically just discrimination, and nobody likes to be discriminated against. I went in my Mazdaspeed Protege, and parked next to “IMPORT ENTHUSIAST” and some really nice modern muscle cars showed up too. I am against rice (the style not the cars) but i dont say it to peoples faces.

It’s seldom my wife likes to come watch action movies with me, but we saw the original together back when were dating. We rolled in her tC and it was off the hook. Loved it!

The movie is pretty decent, plenty of action to say the least. People who are really heavy into the racing will be modertly pissed to all out disappointed in some of the inaccurate scenes. Overall a good movie though.

Just saw it, and I can’t believe what I just heard. I bet some of the import guys cringed at this line: “Muscle beats import every time.” That came from a F&F movie which is quite a shocker for me. They always root for the rice. Now before I set someone’s temper off, I know there are some fast 4-bangers out there. I’m proud to own one (yes, it is a domestic too), but there is still no replacement for displacement, and that is why I finally got a V8 last year.

You know something i just noticed? SPOILER ALERT!!
Right before Han left, he said “i heard theyre doing some crazy shit in Tokyo”
That kinda gives away a little hint:
Dom was seen at the end of Tokyo drift cuz he heard Han died and wanted to give his farwells. Kinda like how Dom returned to Los Angeles when he heard of Lenny’s death.

Good movie, definetly better than 2fast2furious, tokyo drift doesn’t deserve to be compared, but still wasn’t as good as the original The Fast And The Furious. Though i don’t mind the japanese tuners, i loved that this movie was based more around muscle cars than it was tuners. Though i don’t drive muscle i still drive American. And obviously i took my Cavalier, though i can tell you this now, when i was leaving the movie, i have never heard so many fart cans at once in my life.

Seen it last night definitely the best on yet. I was lucky to even get a seat I went to the latest show playing at 10:30pm and the line was out the door. Then after the movie the parking lot turned into a car show. Some kid with a durango raced me at a red light after the movie. I didnt keep it going though didnt wanna get a ticket. There were cops everywhere.

I went to get tickets an hour and a half b4 and they were sold out,went over to another town and viewed the movie though,,,it was awesome 4sure,,,couple of seens were kinda cheesy but it doesnt matter, still had to appreciate the storyline and all the cool cars they used especially the DOMESTICS,,,The Mustangs, Charger, Gran Torino, Chevelle were all bad ass,,,the Skyline was back again and I cant get enough of it as being my favorite import in all the movies.Alot of crashes and high high very high speed chases were all thrilling.The original cast made this movie as special as it is,,,just wouldnt be the same if they continued this 4th installment without them.Vin Diesel exists to play Dominic Torreto in the Fast and Furious movies, I hope there are plenty more movies in the coming future.GO SEE IT!

pretty awesome movie, some parts were a bit cheesy, but the rest of the movie made up for it. funny seeing all the cars come out for this, cops were on high alert tonight and for the rest of the weekend lol.

Started driving with the first Episode of the film and it has been like about eight years now. and i reckon that everytime a get behind the wheels i think of fast & furious or one of the many stunning scene.

Can’t wait anymore send the film with the original actors please……..

i just got back and it was awesome! we sat in the front row because there were no seats left! afterwards i put on my neons n’ reved it, as did everyone else and so did my buddy in a 05′ 9″ lifted silverado. i love the f&f movies

I went to see it today yesterday and guess what i’m goin to see it again today letty was lookin fine as hell in this one and mia oh good god if you didn’t see it take that extra hour and a half of your life that you spend changing the channel on your tv and go see THE DAMN MOVIE it’s worth it HOLLA

that movie was fuckin awesome went with my girl and my lil bro and had to break out the old nova for the occasion rain or not anyway it was awesome i mean they destroyed some good muscle but its a double edge sword but i still loved it and from the looks there will be another down the road and you can bet yer ass ill be there watchin at the edge of my seat

wow..now that movie was great, lots of action and it wasnt crap, i mean they blew up another car with NOS, well 3 ended up coming along with that. But other than that movie was great, great plot and story line. I love the ending, definatly sets up for a 5th Fast and Furious. And this movie wasnt as cheesy as the others were this was made by real car guys, gotta give this one the number one spot on the list outta of this series folled by the first, then second, then third one

I just saw it and it was good but I wish the guy who directed the first 1 did this movie. There were sick cars but idk it just didnt seem like a fast and furious movie. They should have focused more on the cars

The outdoor theater by my parents opens mid April and is set to play this movie first weekend in May. I’ll probably go see it there. I hope the cars look better on film then in person. I saw a handful of the movie cars at Volo Auto Museum last weekend. They half assed alot on them. You need to stand back a good 30 ft for them to look good in person.
