actually i did look up a 98 honda civic EX 2 door with a 5 speed and put in the same mileage as my truck on KBB.com, i added the options to make it worth as much as possible and its not even $6K, im not sure how much my truck is worth brand new because i bought it back in early 04 so i can’t say how much value it lost

and look, i have nothing against imports or small cars, the reason i said i coudl care less for a subaru is just because im not a car person unless its an old or newer muscle car with a V8, im just a V8 person, just like some people are strictly import people, i don’t disrepsect any car as a whole, only things i actually disrespect are the Ricers that make their cars look fast but don’t do anything performance wise to the car and then they’ll talk shit, if someone with a little honda does real engine work and amkes ti truely faster then i respect that, and like i said before, if i wanted something fast you think i would have a full size 4X4 truck? i would have gotten a V8 camaro and fixed it up even faster and better, but i just always want to have at least one truck just how i am, if i race someone and lose then oh well, if i win then cool but its not big deal

SouthernGuy8503- Look up how much a 98 Civic costs. It will be worth over 9k. And as the civic models get older they get rare, and they raise in value. My friend is looking to get a civic, and the early 90’s civic are at about 8k. And for a truck to be a 98 and only be 9k at this point, that is cheap. Look how much you paid for it when you bought it brand new, and how much a civic cost brand new. Which one lost more Value, the civic or your Chevy Silv.
Not trying to bash on you or your Silv, infact I do have a lot of respect for Chevy’s But the top trade in value cars are Honda and Toyota’s… reasoning… they are extremely reliable.

pimpster – i don’t give a shit if tis faster, if i wasn’t something with speed you really think i’d get a 4×4 truck? and you really think a honda is going to be worth something? just so you know cars lose value quicker than trucks do, in about 10 years look at how much a 2010 chevy silverado of the same value will be worth compared to the 2010 camaro SS in about 10 years and see which one is worth more, but of course your car will be worth more, its a damn 07, mines a 98, and guess what its still worth about $9,000 which ain’t a lot but its good for being 11 years old, see what your car is worth when its 11 years old, oh and a truck can drift, its RWD V8 power and tis light on the ass end so its almost perfect for drifting, i guess you didn’t see the vid posted on a blog of a Hemi dodage ram drifting around a circle, and if you say thats nto drifting then you must not know what drifting really is, i can start doing a doughnut without having to pull a little E-brake so ya its easier for anything with a V8 and RWD to drift

And who cares that you can go in a complete circle with you truck with a 4×4. That is what a truck is suppose to do. Try doing that with only FWD. Or do it with a RWD drifting in that Ramp. Oh wait, your POS Truck can’t drift.
Yes I drive a Civic. But least my car will be worth something when I want to trade it in, unlike your POS truck with your true dual exhaust.

dadaoso – the ramp i went on was a complete circle, the highway i was getting on is an over pass over the interstate i was leaving idiot, i was going south on the interstate and then got on the ramp to go east on the highway, try actually thinking about it

ya i am a redneck and im proud to be one but im not takling about lights, i was talking about the seat covers and shit like that, also the reason you did do it cheaper was because you did it yourself, thats with anything, not because you boiught it from walmart, and ya i will have fun in my truck, when i get done with it its going to be my way of say “fuck the gas prices and gas mileage” cause guess what i drove my truck just as much when gas was over $4 as i did before and im not going to let gas prices make me buy something i don’t want, i’ll always have V8s rather its in a truck or car i don’t care what gas prices go up to

my buddies got lights put in there cars for like $100. i got the same shit in mine and it only cost me $20. i do all the work on my shit myself. i dont let others do customizing.

my kia. was the only one around town like that. there was one other kia in town with customizin done to it. i love standing out! blending is not an option!

quit talkin big? im just telling you that you say yo have future plans for your ranger and thats great and maybe it will be better than the way my truck is NOW but i do have future plans for mine to and mine will be better than yu ranger ever will be and i have more plans that what i’ve said, only reason im only going with a 6 inch lift is because i want to still be able to use it to tow and haul, i also plan on painting it black and putting a funtional cowl induction hood on it to, going to try to find one that even has a functional flipper door ont he cowl like on the 70 chevy chevlle, oh and its more than just a brush guard, exhaust and a CB on my truck to right now, wheel to wheel step bars, stainless steel bugsheild, clear corner lights on the front, tinted windows, chrome gas door, and the K&N air intake kit, also the exhaust ain’t that fake dual shit, its true dual, 2 cats and 2 mufflers, most 4×4 trucks have the fake dual shit where its one muffler that has a single inlet and dual outlet, i know all that stuff is stuff you see on almost enything but guess what im the only truck like mine around here, so even if it was other 98 silverado Z71s with the same color you’d damn sure know thats my truck

and whats so damn special about your little ranger? you might have future plans but if you looked at my page you’d also know i have future plans for my truck to as either turning the 350 to a 383 stroker or even sticking in a big block and to also add a supercharger no mater what motor i stick with and i’ll also end up beefing up the tranny and axles, and trust me nobody around here would look at a kia, maybe look to just laugh, oh and your ranger is probably a stick so thats way it might can do a better burnout, and like me and other people said, he didn’t do a burnout as hard as the camaro is able to, he had cars parked on the side of the road so he probably didn’t have the pedal to the floor and might have even had traction control on, and even if it the traction control was off and had the pedal to the floor, that just means the new camaro can get traction so while the other car is trying to find traction the camaro is gone

dadaoso – dude, the ramp wasn’t just an on ramp, it was a full circle loop ramp, it was a complete circle not just a straight ramp you dumbass, if you actually thought about it i said it was going from south to east so you’d have to do a complete circle, reason its harder for a truck also is because its more top heavy and the rear end is light as hell so its easier for the rear end to start fishtailin, my point was that if he’s going to say something was weak to have something that can actually do a burnout period, oh and i bet when he did the burnout he either had the traction control on or didn’t have the gas all the way to the floor since he had cars around him plus if you remember in the post he first put up about the manual he said the clutch didn’t feel right amost like it had been driven hard as hell and done plenty of burnouts, and ya my old 86 POS chevy that was stick did better burnouts like that but i also always had the gas to the floor and of course no traction control

A lot of power coming out of that and it looks like good stability control considering it didnt spin the tires too much before it found grip but it just didnt sound that great to me. When you buy a mustang GT or a challenger srt you get a nice beefy muscle sound but this just didnt sound that great to me. I hope its just bad video quality sound cuz i would hate for chevy to waste 5 years on finally getting this car on the street and it doesnt even sound like what its supposed to be… a muscle car that is.

Cheeba – you call him a pussy? dude you drive a kia sephia and from the page it looks like you haven’t done any preformance mods, just a system and rims, hell even looks like your interior stuff and even system you probably bought from Walmart, from the factory stock the Camaro SS has 426 HP and the base V6 has over 300 HP, try talking shit when you have something that can actually do something, hell even my full size 4×4 truck thats stock performance wise except for a K&N intake kit and true dual flowmaster exhaust could beat your little kia, and i also plan on either turning the 5.7L 350 into a 383 stroker or putting a big block in and also putting a supercharger on it which will add maybe 100-150 HP, so i wouldn’t talk if i were you, i wouldn’t talk shit if your kia had actual mods to it, oh and i bet my truck could even out handle your kia to, try driving 75 mph around a ramp from an interstate onto a highway where the limit on the ramp is 25 mph and its a tight loop ramp goin from south ont he interstate onto east ont eh highway and it never felt like it was going to get loose at all, all it did was all 4 tires were screaming, and i do have a witness that was sitting in the front seat when i did it so you can’t say im lying
