1967 Mustang with Retractable Hardtop on eBay

By Rob Einaudi

Not sure I’d do this to a vintage Mustang, but still, it’s fairly impressive. A few more pics after the jump, or check out the eBay auction for a ton more pics. Via Autoblog

Lose the late-70’s paint and overplayed Lambo Doors, and that’s actually not that bad.

If that car had just a nice Candy apple red or Black glossy paint job…would be hot.

I like the concept, yet the paint and interior are a little hard on the eyes. Something about the rims is off too.

Sorry but that is just ridiculous. I like classic cars to keep with the “classic” style.

Definitely different, and I’m not usually a fan of modernizing muscle cars, but it looks ok.

well even though i don’t agree with the lambo doors you still have to respect the amount of work it took to make the hardtop for that because its not the same shape has a roof off a hardtop mustang so its not like they just made a hardtop roof bend, but they should have kept the doors stock and i understand the trunk lid having to open like that for the hardtop to go in it but they should have made the truck lid so it can also open the normal stock way, doesn’t seem to hard to do just a frame for the trunk lid to rest on and it shoudl work, also i don’t like the stripe colors, doesn’t go with the blue/green base color at all

I think that’s awsome! It’s a beautiful car and the work was very well done IMO. Not a fan of the paint or lambo doors but other than that it’s a really clean custom.

I on the other hand believe this guy ruined yet another classic car. When will these people get the hint?
