An Unspeakably Defiled Nova on eBay

We love ’68-’72 Novas around here. They make great drag cars, look killer in hot street trim, and will swallow whatever nasty motor you have designs for. We’ve seen plenty cut up and raced, and even more that have rotted so badly that they’ll never see road use again, but this one…this one makes us sad.
The car looks to be clean and the floors appear to be rust free in a couple of the sellers’ admittedly rough photos. What possesses people to do stuff like this? A BangShifter needs to buy this trar, kick ‘er on down into low-range and drive through this fellow’s trailer. That’ll learn him. Look here, if you dare.

There was a six pack cuda at the Edmonton Powerama Parts swap that was nearly identical to this way better shape and had front and rear winches, 35″ rubbers, side pipes and custom contoured running board with fender flares. Looked absolutely redneck, pretty cool too. Figured there would be a lot of whiney ass muscle heads over that one.

What if this Nova originally just had an inline six? That would make it less desirable and a better candidate no? So, this is not ok, but the Corvair is?
And, so everybody knows, I would not do something like this to any car.

Well, from this shot it don’t look too bad. Looks like he built it right. (I haven’t gone to the link to see the other pics yet, so I may be wrong). The paint job looks terrible though, so with a new paint job, I’d drive it.

I’m Glad I’m not the only one who saw this. I was looking through eBay the other day and came across this crap Why WHy why you would do that to a Nova or any classic car is beyond me just leave the truck body on the frame it belongs on and don’t replace it with something nice.

well you just have to pick the right car to do that to, a nova, no, and the paintjob sucks, but i do respect the work that goes into doing that, oh and why do you have to assume its a guy that lives in a trailer park, for one its not nly white people that live in trialers, just as many black people and other races live in trailers, its about the same between white and black, oh and how could you have missed that house in the background so he doesn’t live in a trailer, and if you actually looks in the background it looks like a good size farm or just he owns a good amount of land in the country, but i guess you’ll make up some excuse and say that pic was taken at a friend’s house
