Hater Fodder: Red and Gold Mercedes SLR

Switzerland is responsible for this gaudy addition to our Hater Fodder section of the blog. Below you can see the base SLR they used, and after looking at the guy in the picture you can almost guess where this project is headed. So what do you get when that guy designs a SLR? Find out after the jump!
So lets ignore the gold and ruby interior, or the way those SLR rims manage to look hideous after a gold plating with red center caps. This car is worthy of the hater fodder topic just because of that rear wing being on a SLR. It looks like someone got in on that liquidation sale of Erebuni’s old 1990s inventory of shogun style wings. The front bumper sadly is no better. The car is all SHOCK AND AWE(ful).
But really…you just need to see another picture of the creator of the car. I feel like this post is more about that guy than the Mercedes, since he really embodies his creation.

Alright…I’d agree the gold everywhere is too much. Take the gold off the car (especially on the interior) and this is a nasty looking SLR. I know this was posted with the intent to criticize, but I think it’s humorous looking at people’s profiles that comment. You drive an 86 Regal, or a 93 Talon, or a stock 02 Neon…cmon fellas. At least this dude attempted to customize, and minus all the gold crap, succeeded for the most part (in my opinion).

holy crap that body kit is terrible. i could close my eyes and design a better style. true, its customized beyond most but daammnn theres no taste. and jesus the interior practically screams at you. this SLR reminds me of that type of Aunt who is 200lb.s overweight, loud, carries a huge purse, and wears enormous gaudy jewelry.
and the wing on the back reminds me of a friken toilet seat!
at least he genuinely screwed up a German car. im not a german auto guy at all.
…and no comment on the bike. theres only a disgusted look accompanied with a laugh to be given.

Ok you want me to talk about just how bad the car is? look at the picture with the gullwing doors up that looks like it’s in a “God its a Gaudy-awful World” museum. is that gold tinfoil on the bottom of the doors? Was there a sale at their local Family Dollar??? And those who says it would look ok in black i would a agree with it if the front bumper/fascia didn’t look like it wasn’t doing its best impression of snowplow. Where do you have to go to get gold vinyl and gold grip tape and gold foil? i need to know so i can declare war on this place and split it up circa WWII.
P.S.
I don’t even like German cars at all!!! Oh and the motorcycle looks like a big piece of bubble gum hit it while it was goin down road. who comes up with this shit?

Hate the car guys, but please, don’t make any racist remarks about the girl. She’s probably Asian or something, but besides that, I don’t think anyone has the right to judge or give remarks like “she’s a Thai hooker”, or “a poor village girl in the FILOPEENS”!
