Murcielago Fail
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
The poor Murcielago tried to drive under a Hyundai. Didn’t work out so well. This happened just north of Seattle. And here’s a video of the Lambo showing off its exhaust note in better times. More pics after the jump! Via 6SpeedOnline

Proformance Industries: Wheels Done Right
By Mike Musto
RideLust.com
Every now and then you come across a company that redefines how business is done. Proformance Industries is one of those companies. Some of you may remember the catastrophic wheel failure I had on last year’s Bullrun with a set of custom wheels made by Kodiak Racing. I was under the gun to get a new set of one-off performance wheels made for my 1969 Daytona project, and a friend of mine said he knew of a business that had just started doing their own wheel manufacturing. And that’s how I first met George Gjokaj, owner and founder of Proformance Industries.

The Shanghai Auto Show has some goofy stuff, but this Rolls Royce wannabe with one throne-like back seat takes the cake. Via Jalopnik

Andy Thomason took some amazing photos at the Ferrari Challenge at Road Atlanta this past weekend. I’ve pasted a few more pics after the jump, but you can see all the pics over at VWVortex.

Crazy FD3S RX-7
By Ben Schaffer
The Real JDM
I thought I’d just share some pics of a crazy FD3S RX7 that was on display at Autobacs booth at Tokyo Auto Salon. Honestly, I don’t like this car much. It is not my style and it looks a bit spo com HIN style to me. However I just had to share the pics because of the inventive use of those tail lights in the rear widebody fenders. I’d imagine that on the freeway at night those widely spaced low lights would really confuse anyone driving behind them at a distance.

Annoying Guy With Kick-Ass Firebird
By Brian Lohnes
BangShift.com
Some people simply do not know the definition of “soft sell.” The dude selling this awesome 1971 Firebird Formula 455 is one of them. The text in the ad is not all that bad, but the embedded YouTube videos are pure comedy with the seller really putting on the full court press to show off this car.
The car is a stunner. It has 70,000 original miles, has never been apart or restored (as is claimed by the seller) and seems to run like a top. The seller also claims that this car is ultra rare with nary a handful of them produced as this one is optioned.
Check out the eBay auction and then watch the video. We think he should just let the car speak for itself.
Dragging Sunny
By Speedhunters
Car Culture At Large
A Sunny will never look the same to me after seeing this drag version.
Mike had taken pictures of this car previously, during one his Speedhunters’ features on the Tuning Powers Show in Tokyo, but I’ve just found a video of this same car on the Beeoneoneoh blog. The car is powered by a 3sgte engine and as you can see in this video it reallly moves!

CarDomain Obscure Muscle Car Parking Lot: The Lexus SC 400
By Jim Brennan
UDMan
Welcome to the CarDomain Obscure Muscle Car Parking Lot, a regular feature which aims to expand the notion of what a muscle car is, and to show that Japanese machinery can be classified as a muscle car.
The Lexus SC 400 debuted on June 1, 1991 in the United States as a 1992 model. The SC 400′s 4.0 L V8 is the same engine used in the LS 400 luxobarge. It is an arresting design, with details one would have never expected from the Japanese only a few years earlier. However, this particular car follows the tried and true American muscle car formula, that being a RWM two door coupe (or sedan), stuffed with a brawny V-8 engine. Let’s discover the Japanese muscle car, the Lexus SC 400.
