1932 Ford Coupe From Sweden

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

I was pretty blown away by this thing when it first turned up in the pages of Hot Rod a few months back. This ’32 Ford was built by Tomas Svenningson in Sweden as an AWD track car powered by a turbo Volvo inline-5. Crazy, huh? Well, it finally made it to HotRod.com, so those of you without a subscription to the mag can finally check it out.

This builder is badass… isn’t he the same one that built the Jakob rod?

Oh my word it’s nearly perfect! And someone shares my love for turbo fives!!
Now, if only it had some smaller deep-dish rims and stretched tires…

Badass. I always wanted (still do) a open wheeled 32 Ford hot rod.

that looks bad ass, and the stance makes it look almost like an indy car with a ford coupe body on it, i would love to drive that around the track
