Audi R8 V10 Rolls Through Maranello, Hilarity Ensues

My Dad grew up Irish in Italian-dominated South Philly, and he used to joke that his hyper-expressive Italian buddies wouldn’t be able to talk with their hands cuffed, because they seemed to need 15 distinct gestures to say anything. Anyway, provided there aren’t any weapons in the vicinity, I don’t think there are many things funnier than a pissed off Italian. So I loved this clip of an R8 rolling through Ferrari’s home turf. And even though I don’t actually think Audi’s halo car looks so hot in red—Enzo’s Cavellinos have a lock on rosso—it makes sense for this spot. Enjoy.

The tifosi would not respond that way, nor have nothing to worry about. The Audi may have power and finesse but it lacks passion.

lol, yes I remember seeing this vid a few days ago. Pretty cool and funny. but..its not better then a Ferrari. Though the R8 is sick, looks amazing in that red. but its not an Italian sports car….what ever, I’d still buy my dodge viper over the European world.

hahaha I highly doubt it’ll be all that great really, just look at a current Gallardo for its preformance specs, maybe a lil quicker but probably not by much, well see when it gets tested, but prett hilarious commercial

Oh snap funny thing is when the vspec gtr comes out thats the exact reaction all of europe is going to have and they wont be able to take it after theyre first defeat with the 480hp gtr but hell yeah funny as hell

hahahha funny as hell….i still think they should of put the W12 engine in the r8s it would be soooo badass. think about it the s6 has the v10, so the r8 should have something above and beyond.
