We have all heard stories where some guy buys a Ford Crown Victoria and starts acting like a cop. I hate cop impersonators, especially because they give the Ford Crown Victoria, one of my favorite cars, a bad name. Anyway, Fred Heitzman did just that, but what makes his story so unique is that after pulling some woman over, he called for back up. Read the full story at 10tv news.

my wifes old mid 90′s bonneville had the big ole antennas on the roof. i laughed all the time when I’d drive it on the interstate at night. people would come flying up on me and then immediately slow down thinking i was a cop.

That kind of shit is crazy and it’s no joke. Lots of people have “faked” being a cop and they will kill an innocent pedestrian for their money or kidnap a woman, rape her, then kill her. It’s sad people do shit like that and I can fully understand why law enforcement is so strict about it. Hell it’s nice that this guy is trying to help make our streets safer but posing as such a powerful entity isn’t the way to do it.

That happened not far from me. The guy is a regular person trying to make a difference. He just is a bit clueless on how to actually do that. Even the police officer quoted in the video says that. BTW M45lover, can you use regular adjectives or do you only know the one? Don’t let your hatred of everything but yourself cloud your judgements…

I fucking hare these piece of shit cars. Crown Victories shouldn’t be sold to the public, who except cheap poor motherfuckers would want one?
They serve only two purposes, taxi and pig cars. That’s it, i absolutely hate these fucking cars and everyone who owns one.

well i’ve only heard of people impersonating cops but i don’t think anybody around here has, but the locla PD used to have Crown Vics as all the unmarked cars, that was when all cars in the fleet was Crown Vics, but i used to always see a regular Crown Vic and think it was a cop in an unmarked car but once i got close enough to see its not any antennas on it and/or no state permitted plate i knew it wasn’t, but they the local PD started to get chargers so all the detectives or cops with unmarked cars started to get unmarked dodge chargers which sucked even worse because you just didn’t expect a charger to be a cop

we’ve got those all over the place black/white Vic’s with spotlights and CB whips on the trunk lids. only way you can tell the difference is weather or not they have gov’t plates (white with red letters/numbers)
