Ferrari Powered Citroen 2CV!
By John Coyle
Deputy Editor
Engine swaps are always going to be tricky, and that’s ten-times as true when you plan on monkeying with any of Enzo’s handiwork. But it looks like the guys at Nimik did one hell of a job swapping a 355 motor into an old Citroen 2CV. The way all those Italian ponies look splayed out in the back of the van is one thing, but the way this baby moves—and takes a corner!—is something else. Bellissima!

Great work on that! I love that they destroyed a Ferrari too, all those conoisseur types are crying like little girls, but who cares?

The whole thing was putting the CV2 body on a Ferrari chassis. Not just an engine transplant. So putting a Viper in a PT or a Vette in an HHR wouldn’t work the same. It’d still be the same shitty car with a TON of HP, not a nice car with a different body on top.
that being said, that was fun to watch

WOW! That’s definitely an amazing mix.

Brad_jolly, someone already made a LSx motor HHR. In fact I think it was GMPP that did it too.
I think it would be neat to take a Ford Focus and chop it up to take Mustang running gear (New Focus not the old ones).

now if only someone will do this to a PT cruiser or a HHR. i would love to see a Viper engine in a Pt cruiser, or a Vette engine in a HHR.

I think its more likely that they took the body of an old CV2 and put it on top of the Ferrari Chassis, especially with all the suspension changes they would have had to make and the way the engine bay and interior looks stock Ferrari.
