Onboard a Porsche 935-5 Bi-Turbo!
By John Coyle
Deputy Editor
This video was shot at this year’s Youngtimer Trophy at the Hockenheimring in Germany, and as you’d expect, there’s some great footage of DTM hardware in action. But the 935 is totally the star of the show. To be honest, even though I know it’s functional—the Germans do not “pimp” autos without a clear purpose—I still think the giant spoiler looks a little silly. Maybe I’ve just seen too many crappy Hondas with park benches stapled to the rear deck. Anyway, while the exterior shots of the action is killer, the onboard footage is my favorite stuff. The vicious music of the motor and the way the car slices through the field is just wicked.
2010 Camaros Popping Up on CarDomain
Gotadime
First, the 2010 Mustangsstarted showing up and now we’re starting to see the 2010 Camaros. I went and looked at the new Camaros and Mustangs last weekend and I must say, they’re even more stunning in person. A 2010 Mustang GT just moved into my neighborhood last week and I got to take it for a spin. That’s when I realized that the pictures truly don’t do the car justice. Be sure that you head over to take a look at Bobby’s gorgeous yellow 2010 Camaro SS and check out the 2010 Camaro listings on CarDomain often—I’m sure that you’ll see more pop up daily.

What's Next: a Low Cost, Mass Market Plug-in Hybrid From Fisker
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
Fisker isn’t messing around. In addition to the Karma four door and convertible models, they are now looking to build a low cost, mass market plug-in hybrid. Fisker has applied for a Department of Energy grant, and if the request goes through, they are gunning to bring this new vehicle to market in 29 months. Via Autoblog
1953 Chevy Business Coupe on Craigslist

Another Craigslist classic, via VWVortex. Read the rest after the jump!
So the girlfriend is moving in and I need my parking space back.
She says that hooligan hotrod has to go and I guess she’s right. She says that it’s time to grow up and put away childish things and let our relationship blah blah blah. That’s when I go to the basement with a 6 pack to try to figure out what the hell happened to me and then I remember the one thing in this world that I’m certain of. That vacuum ain’t gonna push itself so I better man up and ditch the yard ornament.
This old Chevy was once my daily driver, then my weekend car until I only drove it a few times a year and that’s how we arrive here. Despite the fact that she has probably provided more happy memories than my girlfriend has, and has been with me for far longer I can no longer find the time or suitable space to do even basic maintenance and she deserves a roof over her head and somebody willing to take better care of her.

Chance to Save Hundreds of Classic Cars!
1lowscort
A couple of months ago, my friend Jared told me about a junkyard in Laramie, Wyoming that had a load of old rust free cars. I got a bit upset about it, but he assured me that this was not your typical sob story involving some guy crushing hundreds of old cars with no regard for anybody but himself. The owner of the salvage yard is actually willing to sell all these cars, and, even better, at a reasonable price. I have been told that he is even willing to trade scrap iron of equal or greater value for them! These cars have been getting moved around quite a bit lately, but it seems none of them have gone into the crusher. But several have moved alarmingly close to the crusher recently, but hopefully they are just being put there temporarily to get things moved around. Jared was kind enough to get me a few pictures and even a video of some of the cars, as well as the address and phone number. Please someone buy some of these!

Chrysler Dealer Cut List
Found: the Only Streamlined Seagram’s Diamond T
By Dan Strohl
Hemmings
Yes, it looks rather horrible. According to its known history, after Seagram’s commissioned Toronto-based Smith Brothers Body Works to build the steel-bodied truck in 1938, Seagram’s used it as a delivery van and mobile billboard until 1949, then sold the truck to Holman Construction in Rockwood, Ontario, which simply painted over the door signs, then hauled building materials with it, possibly until the early 1980s, when Holman sold it to a scrap dealer. How it escaped the crusher remains unknown, but it now sits at Ron Fawcett Motors, a well-established restoration shop, in Whitby, Ontario. Continue reading at Hemmings

When Nitrous Goes Bad
By Brian Lohnes
BangShift.com
Nitrous, like fire, can be man’s best friend or worst enemy when it goes wrong. Consider this video as going as wrong as it can possibly go.
The drag car in question suffers a flaming nitrous backfire which immediately erupts under the hood into a raging fire. The track officials armed with weenie extinguishers don’t get it out and only really succeed in making the fire gods angrier until stuff under the hood starts to melt and, well we won’t ruin it for you.
We’re not sure what track this video is from but their safety crew isn’t exactly made up of people possessing Carl Lewis-esque speed.
Snap crackle pop.

The guys at Risky Devil have been busy blogging about themselves and other cool stuff. I came across this picture of Chob’s car with a set of SP1′s and without the stickers. The Chi-town guys are still killing it with their style and attention to detail.

Picked these up yesterday. I’d say Hot Wheels is really hitting it out of the park with the old school muscle offerings lately. More pics after the jump!
