Can You Identify This Car?

Have you ever heard someone say that they can identify any car, popular or odd, by simply seeing the tail lights, a body panel, etc? Well, after seeing the CarDomain community flex their car identifying muscles in Mike’s Post, I figured that we should have a regular identification game around here. But it’s a bit different from his—all cars will be recognizable and viewed by a large audience (so you’ve probably seen the car before), but you’ll only be given a body panel, head light, tail light, interior section, etc. All you need is the make and model, not the year. Identify it first and you’re a true car nut! If you think that this first picture is too hard to identify, let me know in a comment and I’ll try to make the next post a little easier. But something’s telling me that you all won’t have even the slightest of problems. Here’s our first car to identify:

Never mind….it is an Opel Speedster, I just saw some pics of it on Yahoo images. I failed like GM.

never seen it…all the comments in majority say opel speedster from a video game. I join the stampede blind ready to fall of the cliff. I see rear mounted, plastic, flush bumpers, mid 90s or later, tail lights as well…leds, make it a bit newer…is it a fiero hacked in the ghetto or…

opel speedster. had a silver one in Gran Turismo for PS2 haha, and I had a diecast model of a silver one too, sweet car

its an opel speedster, i saw it in a top gear magazine..

this game is pretty awesome, i always liked trying to figure out cars by just small sections of it. i usually do it in magazines.

a game i like to play at night while driving is trying to figure out the car infront of me just by how their tail lights light up. bit harder, but some cars are distinct enough.

It is an Opel. This brings back memories of when I used to sit in the back of my parent’s van while we were driving at night and I would guess what kind of car was behind us by looking at the headlight design. My sisters would find it ammusing, from what I can remember I was pretty darn good!
