Bad Shift Makes Acura Endo!

Everybody knows missing a shift can have disastrous consequences, but this has to be one of the worst instances I’ve seen. Apparently the dude behind the wheel was going for third, but wound up slamming the gearbox into first. Yikes. Obviously, the Acura wasn’t very happy about that, and pulled a pretty burly endo before coasting to a stop. You can’t really hear too much on the video, but I can only imagine what it sounded like inside the car as the tranny lunched itself. There’s some adult language at the end of this clip, so if you’ve got sensitive ears you might want to keep volume down.

lucky for me my trany and shifter lock out 1st and 2nd and even third if the rpms are too high and i just cant for the life me of force it to down shift like that and for some reason if i do get the rpms high enough while down shifting my clutch will will slowly disengage you can even feel it in the pedal i thought my clutch was slipping at first when i drove my car for the first time saturn built stick shifts for idiots this guy should drive a saturn he wouldnt of done that in his honda… i mean acura lol.
