Interclub Historic Car Race: Part Three

Time now to take a look at the final part of the InterClub Historic Car Race in Tsukuba. The event mixes so many modern and historic cars together it is like no other track-day event in the world. The picture of the Chevron around the first corner at Tsukuba might as well be taken back in the 70′s! I used to see cars like this at hill-climb events in Italy… …it certainly looked the part but wasn’t running very well due to mis-tuned carbs which made it cough and splatter around the circuit. My Dad has an old Galaxy with a 351 Cleavland in it, and when he got that holly four barrel carb tuned right that thing would haul.

I hate carbs……I wish I had an Atkins-Approved rat-rod….lol

mistuned carbs by racers. that is discouraging. a moron with visegrips tapping on a bowl is tuning a carb better than that. I love the carbs….they go half a century without a “mis-tune” and “splatter”. Gotta love these bloggers.
