Henessey's LS9 Powered Camaro

By Brian Lohnes

BangShift.com

Well that certainly didn’t take long. John Hennessey has shoved a blown LS9 motor into the front of a new Camaro, creating the nastiest ever Camaro that’s based on factory parts. It has 705 horsepower, and we’re about 100 percent sure that for a few more bucks John will find as many more horses as you’d like. In fact, a twin turbo upgrade to 1,000 hp is already available. He’s calling the car the Cam-aero as there is an exterior aerodynamics package available as well. That package was designed by a British designer named Steve Everitt. We could go on, but we’ll let Hennessey Performance Engineering do the talking. Continue reading over at Bang Shift.

Looks really sick. If I had the money, and if Henessey wasn’t shady, I would want one. I’m sure it sounds mean as hell.

There’s recently posted video of the Lingenfelter ZR-1 doing a very low 10 in the 1320. I can only imagine what this beast could do while carrying a few buddies for the ride.

Awesome Camaro, I like it how it has the same rims as the 2009 Chevy ZR1 Corvette.
