2011 Camaro Z28 Still in the Works?

By Brian Lohnes

BangShift.com

We were tipped off by an astute reader to a blog post over at Camaro5.com that reports GM officials strongly hinting that Chevy will indeed produce a Camaro Z28, albeit a couple years out.

This is great news as it seemed like the Z28 model was toast when the stuff really started hitting the fan at GM.

Click here to get the whole story, which is pretty sketchy on details, but heavy on hope.

Dear god, I hope the Z28 comes out. I will be 1st in line to buy one. TOPIlamborghini, the diffrence about all three is horsepower and a little slight change in the looks. The RS is a V6 300HP Camaro and has a different front bumper, The SS is a V8 426HP Camaro and the front bumper just looks meaner, Now I dont know about the Z28 but I heard a rumor that it was going to be a supercharged V8 Camaro pushing like almost 600HP.

yea hopefully GM can get out of this jam. cause when i get out of college i definatly want to buy a new camaro. i dont need a V8 in it necessarly i could get the basic package but still i’d like to say i bought a brand new camaro before it gets discontinued, if that happens. Maybe a blue one with white stripes.

Lets just hope GM is still thriving in 2011 and they can produce the Camaro.
