idk if any of the guys talking about the fenders and quarters realize they didnt do it to please the eye they did it for aerodynamics and so the car would be wider cause we all know pontiac did it best with the wide trac. its still a common practice today its just not quite as dramatic as that one. the guy below me is right i like the history of the car, and the fact that it could compete with porches and vettes and such, not so much the looks, but then again it wasnt built to be pretty

I could do without some of the silliness and the fenders sure could been integrated into the lines of the body a lot better in my opinion, but hey, it’s the ’80s! But in all honesty it isn’t just a gaudy spoiler and a nonsensical widebody, there’s quite a bit of fundamental hardcore-ness going on here… including aforementioned widebody. Overall, I appreciate this car 100%, but only love it about 50%.

Why doesn’t CD spend time fixing the problems on this site (especially with the Groups!) instead of spending time on useless blogs like this?

The rear fenders dont look too bad. The front ones could have been handled a little bit more gracefully but if its for race I guess looks arent much of a concern

Trying to add Coke bottle styling to a square Lego like car usually doesn’t work to well in my opinion. This one looks ok, but I still prefer a fox Stang without a wide body kit.

Not to be a hater… But Coolest Fox Body is an oxymoron.
But then again… I drive a VW Fat Chick, so I have no room to talk. Somebody did put some hours and some love into it though.

It didn’t occur to me that there was a metal version, that had to be made for development purposes.
But,Wow a car that comes with a web site too!

Glad you dig the flared fenders, boywithGT.
There was a time just after the Fox-bodied Mustangs were introduced that they had a McClaren Mustang body kit designed around the Turbo ’stang, including a revamped nose and hood for improved airflow. That was a fiberglass kit. JBA did the work on this one in metal, and while it might make parking at the local supermarket a little more of a chore, they look awesome.
Buzzoid, apparently they have a second hatch as part of the deal without the wing for you, too. It looks like it’s a direct carry-over of the Capri hatch with the enormous back glass.
Oh, and did you know that the auction also includes the car’s own website as part of the deal? That should make you pop for the $34,500 asking price right there!!
