What’s better than a red, white and blue AMC for the 4th of July? Tony Lazzarini bought his AMX new in 1968 at age 22 and started racing it in SCCA A-Production Classs four years later. The car then sat in storage for over 20 years before he took it out and rebuilt it to run in the Vintage Series. Check out his ride page for more pics and details!

Thanks for selecting my 1968 AMX to represent this years 4th of July on CarDomain. As a veteran (Vietnam), I would like thank all those who have served our country during its times of need.

Looks awesome!!! I love seeing classic American muscle cars showing off thier true colors. If I remember right AMC did a bicentenial edition Spirit. It had Spirit of ‘76 and the Stars and Stripes across the rear quarter panel if I remember right. There weren’t too many made.
