Are Cars As Essential to the 4th of July as Fireworks and Hot Dogs?
By Sam Barer
Sound Classics
Most people say that a Fourth of July celebration isn’t complete without fireworks. Me, I say that it’s not complete without classic cars on parade. And again I spent the morning of the 4th at the Yarrow Point Parade outside of Bellevue, Washington.
First watch all the great classics (Corvettes, Rolls-Royces, Jeeps, Jaguars, a ’29 Franklin, Bugatti T57, and a Kaiser-Darrin, to name a few) parading down Yarrow Point, then sound off and let me know if your July 4th celebration included any classic cars!

I don’t know of any classic car parades in the Detroit area on the fourth, but there are plenty of other times we get show off our cars.

Oh my, that was a real parade of money! There were a ton of rare and valuable cars in that small parade…
