Hater Fodder: Mercedes-Benz G Classless

The Benz G Class is one of those cars that never seems to change. With a life span comparable to the Lotus Esprit, the G Class has outlived numerous decades of design and techological change. With a history of textbook function over looks philosophy, one has to look in amazement at this modified G Class.
The G Classless as I’ll refer to it, was modified by a private owner (I’m presuming) who felt that what the G Class really needed was a E Class front end. I think any good friend would tell you that doing this is a terrible idea, but somehow nobody warned of what it would end up as.
So here we go, your hater fodder for the day. The G Classless Benz. Via Autogespot

wowww…prolly the worst automotive idea in history. it looks like a big ugly weird as tits hippo. the mod looks super clean and well done but why would you ever toy with such a car. i mean honestly, its not a $700 honda hatchback. next time just upgrade the interior and put some swanky rims on it…god bless

idk… it doesnt look to bad, i mean it looks stupid with three grills, but maybe this could be a new idea in the minds for M-B designers. With the original grill between the headlights, since afterall that is M-B look!

This abomonation should be laid to rest and covered by the blue tarp pictured in the background. Hopefully whatever is under that tarp can be rolled out and driven instead of this atroachess uglyness. If this was mine id expect to be driven off the road by an AMG and recieve good hiding from a Mercedes Benz executive…

Well, it’s nice that the conversion is actually formed without duct tape and multi-colored panels. BUT that doesn’t mean it belongs.

im not a mercedes person, honestly. always thought they were ugly and for being a luxury car…they just flat out suck. but this? even though im against mercedes, this is just a sin i the automotive world! just like the school buses that were attached to each other at the roof! what the hell was this person thinking when they did this? honestly, this was just sheer stupidity.

These vehicles are ugly to begin with, but my room mate thinks they’re hotter then the new Camaro.
Anyway, If this person hadn’t overdone things with the bumper the thing would look fine. There are way to many lights and grills on that thing. Plus, what’s with that damn exhaust? OVERKILL! He might has well slapped an unpainted body kit and some apc stickers on the thing…..

this was popular to do in the mid 90s…they called a european clip…they did a lot of custom clips on h1 hummers back then (not benz clips)…this is a bad example but i remember when i was a kid people use to do these to they SUVs a lot

Ok I said the same damn thing about the baby blue Ferrari but this is another perfect example that proves it. Just because you’re rich DOES NOT MEAN you have good taste (another great example is my filthy-rich grandparent’s taste in furniture…but anyway). This is pretty much the ugliest car I’ve ever seen–even uglier than the Pontiac Aztek I think. I mean the design-fugly and the color: disgusting. But the scariest thing about the whole thing is that the owner must love it seeing as how it was obviously a high-quality job meaning that the guy had plenty of time during the build to realize how ugly it was gonna be and prevent the project from going any further. If there was one thing I could say that’s nice about it, it would be the guy chose some pretty nice rims.

I like it. and the paint too. the shade of champagne in the brown…Hmmmm. so familiar. i did not know mercedes did this color. It is nearly identical colors to a one off 1987 subaru…never see it. had to mention it. And I do like what thye did to front end visibility. Hater fodder a honda ricer or something else, leave this one alone.
