Super Hilarious: Clarkson Island

I’m not sure how old it is, but this bit from a UK comedy show had me laughing my ass off. Apparently, Clarkson Island has more Jeremy Clarksons per square mile than anywhere else in the world, and there’s even a farm dedicated to breeding them. According to the head farmer, they have to be sheared frequently to keep their bushy hair from getting filled with the crap that comes out of their mouths. Ha! Now, I love Jeremy Clarkson, and if the man himself has half the sense of humor he’s demonstrated on Top Gear, he’s got to think this is funny. Oh, and if you want to make your dialog sound like Clarkson’s, just remember to pause… in the middle.

Just so that you know, this skit was done about 5 or so years back. Jeremy Clarkson had harry enfield on top gear as the guest and they were playing it than. he thought it was funny. it still is pretty funny now.

Ok…all you morons that don’t get the joke….Jeremy Clarkson is one of three presenters on a CAR show called Top Gear. It is perhaps one of the best shows on Television concerning cars. He is also a writer for various Auto themed magazines, and one of the people Great Britain turns to for advice about what is best and why.
The “…In The World” comment everyone is trying make funny (good try too) is in fact one of J. Clarksons pat sayings. “This Mini is the….Best in the World…” The Flappy paddles Tranny in this Kia is…The best in the world…” You get the idea.
For we americans, Top Gear is broadcast on the BBC America. Check your listings. It is also available on iTunes as complete episodes. Other countries have thier own version of Top Gear.
We are supposed to have our own version. NBC has the rights to produce the show. However (THANKFULLY) the economy has kept them from ruining what is a great show. The Bristish humor (Humour….sorry) comes through is spades. This makes the show…”entertaining” (sorry) ….Some say….(sorry again…)

At first sight its……bloody awful! But a strange thing happened after I started to watch it. I actually enjoyed it….immensely! Probably the best clip…in the world!

Definately amusing, though I think this specific skit would be better suited at one minute in length rather than almost five. The joke loses it’s brilliance around the 2-3 minute mark.

They played part of this on a Top Gear episode when they interviewed the comedian that made the video. I didn’t realize there was more to it though. Awesomely funny!
