Y don’t these tree huggers n government point the environment problems at other places like these chimneys rolling around everywhere that consume so much gas n pollute more then some factories…there called big rigs, & buses!! Tractors, & buses r not monitored, they need the cash for clunkers!! This is not at all going 2 help the economy. Jus think about all those people that drive these still useable cars that in there eyes are clunkers which there just old cars, what makes them think in the first place they could even afford the new cars? That’s y there driving old cars in the first place!! These same cars will be on used car lots a year from now cause they couldn’t afford it in the first place.Us putting up the money for a stupid ass program is insane!! That doesn’t create jobs, it adds 2 the snowball effect. Funny how they own part of a few car makers n this is what they come up with? By the way congress..smooth move on putting chemicals in the air by the dumbest way of “disposing” the engine. JASPER engine rebuilders you gotta help us out!!! KEEP ON LIVING BERTA!!
