Have Fun In Our Garage
Grassroots Motorsports
I’m not much of a gadget nerd, but on the other hand I’d rather not get too sweaty if I don’t have to. I bought a random orbital buffer from one of the big box stores years ago, and it has worked okay. The other day I got to use Griot’s new professional-grade random orbital. Ah, how the right tool makes any task just a bit easier. (And, yes, that is an Electron Blue Civic Si.)

Thanks for the good word David! Great to hear you are enjoying it.
To address the burning paint concern from PureBusiness, that shouldn’t be a worry with our machine since this is a random orbital; not a direct drive machine. The orbital rotates in a random oscillating motion keeping the surface cool throughout the entire process, so burning through the paint is not a concern.
Our video on YouTube explains this well. It features the previous model of our orbital, but the idea and information is all pretty much the same.

I got a polisher like that a few months ago, and it makes the job a billion times faster and better! I had some nasty paint to work with, and there’s no way I could’ve gotten as good of results polishing by hand. Have fun with it!
