MT does it again... a factory built SRT8 vs a non-factory built Hennessey Camaro. How about comparing to virtually any of the Hennessey Challengers. If comparing a Hennessey Camaro, let's be fair and go with a Hennessey Challenger... lets say the HPE575, HPE600, HPE600 SC, HPE700 or HPE800.

This wouldn't really change my want for an SRT challenger, but honestly, I wouldn't mind any of the cars.

As much as I love the GT500, I do feel like this is an uneven match, especially for the Challenger. With Camaros new hp numbers 300, and above 400, there really isn't a straight even matchup. The SS and SRT8 are in the same ballpark but the Mustang is either way under with the GT or way above with the GT500. I think a most realistic comparison is based on budget, as I believe the original review was done. I say get the lowest option stick shift car under 25K of all three and see who does the best. Even a 230 horse v6 mustang makes more power than a 289 2 barrel car did in the mustang early years, unmodified anyway.
