What Did You Do This Weekend?

By Jen Dunnaway

I went and checked out the dirt track races on Saturday night! I’d never actually been, and after all the over-sanitized high-dollar NASCAR I’ve gotten used to, it was pretty cool to see banged-up packs of midgets, modifieds and late models carving their way around a tiny oval of mud at Grays Harbor County Fairground. The racing was just as cut-throat as it is in the big leagues, the rules were looser, and the wrecks were intense but non-lethal. Racin’ the way racin’ should be!

How about you? What did you do this weekend?

I made a video for my eBay Motor Masters! You should check out the corvette and rate it 5 stars! :-)

Dang have done one of these in a while. Let’s see, my tie rod blew while I was going 5mph and got replaced the next day outside of Hollywood Video. I tried to get the other one on Saturday buy couldn’t get it done.

I unexpectedly stumbled upon a car show down in Sanford, Florida while there for dinner with a friend.

installed a new starter in my ’86 Fiero. Looked daunting at first, but ended up being only mildly annoying. Only threw 3 wrenches on a scale of 1 to 10. Surprised how large the starter was for a 2.5 litre engine. Not surprised they were used on 3.1′s as well.
