So I now have this Porsche 911 in my life, which is like being handed a lump of clay. I realize that mine sits too high, and I have found myself spending too much time staring at this one. Maybe I just need a life.

Well, not exactly… But, it was one of the best dang TV shows in the 60′s… EVER!
U.F.O. was one of those cool sci-fi Tshows that had it all. SpaceHardware, Alien Babes with Purple Hair and Cool Cars. And discovered here is one of them, left behind in some dood’s driveway just outside London. This guys gets the “head smack” for not restoring this puppy.
It’s a shame. Coolness put to rest, but check this out for a little RETRO ACTION!

Holiday Bonus

Last week I went on a family holiday which entailed catching up with my father. Usually this means flying halfway across the country and then hiring some econ box to get around. We flew into Coffs Harbour on Sunday and much to my surprise I was told that the rental company didn’t have the econobox that I had booked, and would I like a new Ford Falcon XR6 at the same price? For those who don’t know, the XR6 is one of Ford Australia’s performance models. Now I am Mopar guy through and through, but I will take an XR6 over an econobox any day of the week. To say that the XR6 delivered is an understatement. It had the right amount of power, the handling was fantastic and to top it all off I had a big grin on my face every-time I got into the drivers seat. Quite simply it helped make my holiday one of the best that I had in a long time. So have you had a great car rental experience lately?
Jalopnik's Plan to Fix NASCAR

Jalopnik has a pretty good plan to “fix” NASCAR. I myself have never enjoyed the sport and often think of it as a waste of fuel and rubber, but perhaps with these adjustments, I would watch it once or twice (when nothing else is on…and I really mean nothing). Take a look at their plans.
Burly High Side Crash During German Grand Prix

There’s tough, and then there’s how tough you have to be to run in MotoGP. Evidence? After making some nasty contact with Joan Olive in the final corner of the 125cc German Grand Prix, Marc Marquez flips over the bars of his machine and still manages to get up and finish the race. Seriously, the dude is on his feet before he’s even come to a stop! Before this spill, he was fighting for third, but he wound up finishing 16th. At least he avoided a DNF…
