I hope this means Toyota is moving away from that rounded, pudgy look. I used to be a big fan, first three vehicles were Toyotas, but lately all their models just look fat. And lose the fake hoodscoops.

why not make it look like that? I remember it on Audis first, and then Evos made it popular, and now I see the blacked out middle bumper like that all over to mimic it.

I think the whole blacked out center thing is just another design trend. You can’t really say that it is the GT-R’s or Evo’s. It is just the design that is used to make the vehicles look sporty.

finally the 4runner looks more like a offroad vehicle. in the past years they made it look too nice and lux. and it looks nowhere near a gtr or evo.

wasn’t the whole “lets black out the center of the bumper to make the grill look bigger thing” started by Audi? before the Evo 10 or the GTR???
