Forza and Gran Turismo Square Off!

The video game world is vicious, and if they walked into the same bar, I can imagine the Forza Team and the Gran Turismo team going at it like the Hatfields and the McCoys. So I was entertained when I saw that each franchise has released tributes to Ferrari’s new bambino, the 458 Italia. Now, in the interest of impartiality, I haven’t watched either of these clips, and I’m curious to see which one you guys think is cooler. Gran Turismo is and always was wayyyy better than forza. the only thing forza has on it is damage. GT games always look better and the cars “feel” more realistic. And as far as gameplay looks, i think that they will the same as the video because the gameplay in GT5 Prologue looks just like these videos.

Forza Kicks Butt.
GTA’s Videos look good, but the game play doesn’t supply.

if i remember right most gt videos are cgi and not actual game play videos where forza most videos are from in game.

I like ‘em both, more of a personal history with GT and more comfortable with it. I don’t take the technology and achievements that made these games possible – so I don’t take anything about these games for granted, they’re simply awe-inspiring.

I lost all interest in GT when Forza came out. The fact there is damage in forza trumps anything GT can do. With forza you have to race the car, and not run into everything to get ahead of everyone. GT looks good, but i have to stick with forza for the game play. Can’t wait for them to come out!

i may be bias to gran turismo, but GT was a lot better than forza’s
-GT’s had better detail, i really thought it was an actual car at certain points.
-GT had better camera angles, really like the amateur footage as if in the stands.
-there was a lot of stand still in forza’s which got a little boring.
-i’ll give forza credit for racing other ferrari’s, that was a bit more thrilling.
