Pantera With Flawless Execution – Thank You Mr. Sibal

To my friend John Sibal – You’re taste in cars is phenomenal. I usually don’t like to feature much content from other blogs but you leave me no choice with your latest post. This car needs to be seen! It is everything that is right about JDM hardcore tuning ethos, yet it is not JDM (by literal definition). This is a great example of what I was talking about a few years ago when I wrote a two part series on the redefinition of JDM tuning as a philosophy. Part 1 Part 2

i always like panteras, nice sound to them bad ass body style, look at my blog for the car that was to take on the pantera in the u.s.a. market AMERICAN MOTORS started to launch a car the AMX2-3. but as we all know AMC did not have the capital. you can buy a kit car from teague int. you can see the similarities in both cars.BADJAV2…

How can i describe this car!!?????…awesome would be an understatement!
My friend has one,i drove it and the performance is out of this world!..the shape and the low height of the car!!…give me goose bumps!!..yours is sooo nice!!..love the colour..the bonnet,rims!!!luvvit!!!!!

… If that’s what JDM has become… I’d rather have my car not be JDM. Sounds more like the old catch phrase “Clean, Functional, Performance” is adding “Rice, Everything as long as it has four wheels” to it as well…

Modded or not, this is not JDM. There is NOTHING Japanese about a Pantera. It is Italian/American. I hate that ricer phrase (JDM) anyway. Who ever called this JDM needs to be pimp slapped hard.

It’s a beautiful car. I always liked the looks of Panteras, they had some serious body stiffness issues way in the past that were a corrected issue. These are great cars, and there are a lot of variations done by different owners. The rims/tires/flares on this are simply gorgeous. I’m drooling, and I’m sure it’s a beast on the road.

Why is it that every time a car is done properly the “JDM” crowd tries to take the credit for execution, style, or anything of that sort?
