Mini-Irwindale in South Africa?

Chris Davy, a reader from Romania sent us a few clips of a Romanian drifter who goes by the name of “Tengu”. Romania’s drift scene is very small, but Tengu has competed in events all over Europe and even holds a BDC license. He’s also drifted in South Africa, where the above clip was shot (he’s the one in the white R33).

Anyone else think the track in the video bares a little resemblance to Irwindale Speedway?
