The Dog is Done!
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
Jonathan Ward just e-mailed to tell me that his ICON CJ3B prototype AKA “the Dog” is complete–just in time for SEMA! Check out his ride page for more details, and of course we’ll be meeting up with Jonathan and seeing this cool ride up close and personal at SEMA.

apomoransky,Your ride sounds sweet but the beauty of the ICON “Dog” is in it’s simplicity and utilitarin JEEP roots. Hats off to ICON and the SEMA judges for recognizing a true classic! Simple, basic, and so capable. A work of art!

Not impressed… for a jeep… is SEMA lowering its standards?
Just did a full customized restore on a 86 CJ7 and it turned out a heck of a lot nicer than that.
Cosmetics:
Full black leather interior. sunfire yellow exterior. all stainless hardware and accessories with black beefy Warn bumpers, rockers and winch and customized tire carrier.
Power&Suspension:
35s
too many others to list
called it the Wolverine… and it stands up to the name too…
makes this build look pretty basic…

I don’t think it deserves Sema. It really isn’t that unique.

WOW! Just checked out the ride page. Amazing vehicle and excellent documentation of this project, from conception to the build. Love everything about it. The fact that the body is powdercoated just blew me away… I am addicted to powdercoating myself, due to it’s finish, beauty, and especially it’s durability. This is one tough rig!
