Check out this month's Popular Hot Rodding mag. Nice 76 Laguna on the cover, feature story, & elsewhere in the mag. Not to mention their project Talladega which is a Laguna! Seriously if you haven't heard of the "forgotten generation" you're living under a rock. These cars are the new hot ticket.

I've never heard of the Laguna, it looks like a predecessor to the later 2nd Gen F-body cars and it has a 454 in it. Definitely the more obscure muscle car. The Gran Torino is juss a regular muscle car

Screw Torinos. They appeared on one TV show way back in the day & because of that they are cool? The bad part is that if you've seen one, you've seen them all because everyone mocks the show car. Same thing can be said about a lot of 69 Chargers & late 70's Trans Ams.

My vote goes for the Laguna. I'm not a brand loyalist, but I do hold a spot in my heart for the 73-77 GM A-bodies. I've owned a few of them over the years & currently have a 73 Malibu & 76 Malibu. I've also owned earlier A-bodies & while they do grab more attention, the later models will tear them up on a road course stock for stock. The handling on these old cars is plain amazing with just the addition of decent shocks & tires. It was so ahead of its time that the suspension design lasted through 1996 in the form of the Caprice.
