Mountain Men, Cars in Barns and Crazy Bees: Part Deux

The Chevelle, I’m not quite sure on the year. But it looked to be a Legit SS 396 car. Had a Hurst floor T-Shifter and an 80’s style chain steering wheel. I didn’t look at this one too closely.

We stayed and chatted with the “Mountain Men” for an hour or so. Then we were getting hungry and said goodbye to our new friends.
We headed… well I don’t really know where we were. My “friends” said go left, go right… yadda yadda yadda and we drove past a really cool old Box Car in a guys yard, then wound up at a nice Bar and Grille in a nice little town.

We had a good lunch, then proceeded to make our way to Machesney Park, where Nostalgia Lane Restorations is. We thought that there would be nobody there. That they would just show me where the place was. Thankfully one of their friends was there working on some projects, like the Demon SS and a few others. There was a whole bunch of original Mr. Norm’s cars there. 69 440 M-Code Darts and Barracudas. GSS Demons and new 68 Dart GSS. Just incredible machines.

Yeahhhhh…., you take the mopar 1st, and pull it out of the way so I can get the tow truck hooked up to that Chevelle in the background. If you have not done anything with that mopar by the time I finnish the Chevelle, I’ll come back with the tow truck for it. : )
