Veilside RX-7 vs. Hakosuka Clone: Which Would You Choose?

I figured it was time for some import tuner love in this week’s eBay Motors Showdown. The Veilside RX-7 is a magazine quality FD with $50k in mods according to the seller. And the Hakosuka Clone looks sweet and has lots of authentic JDM touches. Oh, and both of these rides are John Naderi approved. So, which would you choose?

Look at what I drive! The Skyline of course! That Skyline is valued about 3 times more than that Rx7s. Rx7s like that are a dime a dozen

Though I love the old school and the heritage behind it, I also love RX7’s and what they bring to the table. It’s a tough choice but I’m going with the RX7 even though the Hakosuka is probably going to be hard to get another shot at.

as cool as the skyline would be, the FD has always been a dream car of mine, and that one is waaaay too clean to pass up!

I wouldn’t put it past the old car. The Clone most likely has more mods done because most of the time its cheaper to mod an older car. however, i don’t know too much about these Japanese cars. hmmmm without seeing the engines, i couldn’t give it to either one of them.

RX-7 all the way, shit who can say no to those sexy curves and that stunning look on top of that the performance of this machine and it’s rotary engine will totally smoke the ugly GT-R.

If the skyline came with a RB26DETT swap then i would take that, but because the rx7 is much faster and probably more fun to drive ill take the rx7.

RX7. The Skyline is really nice, but I like the more modern RX7.

I certainly love an FD, but not really that one.
The clone is just awesome. I’d definitely plunk down my cash for that one.

I prefer the old school. While the veilside is nice I’m digging the Old School more.
