Heavy Duty Truck Iron Represented at SEMA
By Jim Brennan
aka UDMan
While the bulk of the vehicles showcased at SEMA are cars, bikes, light duty trucks, and SUVs, there is a contingent of heavy-duty trucks that have made their appearance this year. Take a look at the latest creation from Outlaw Customs, a specialized business that was started in 2007 by Brothers Andy and Alex Gobel, along with Nic Gillian and Jon Gill. Watch for a video on this creation.

Freightliner Trucks seem to be the dominant truck here at SEMA, with a couple of versions that are a little over the top. These are Freightliner M2 106 Crew Cabs, with the 2010 model line up available with a number of Cummins Turbo Diesels.

How about this thing? This is from Dunkel Industries, and it is billed as a multi-use vehicle, which combines a Motor Home, Toy Hauler, and large scale pickup truck all in one vehicle. It has all the comforts of home, with the ability to level itself if you camp on uneven surfaces.

SWEET RIG. I’m absolutely loving the black 6″ exhaust stacks and fenders all around.

The other trucks are nice, but that proboscis on the black Ford looks silly. It reminds me of a Decotora overhang. Cut it off.
