Slammed Chevy Truck Outside SEMA

By John Coyle

Deputy Editor

One of the coolest vehicles I’ve ever owned was a 1980 Chevy Custom Deluxe, so I have a soft spot for pick ups wearing bow ties. So I was pretty taken with this slammed yellow truck. I don’t think it translates well in the photos, but there’s a lot of orange in the paint, and gives off a creamsicle vibe. Here’s the walk-around video. More pics after the jump.

I really like the whited out bumpers, grill, and trim! It gives the truck a really unique look as opposed to the general chrome.

you should check out the latest issue (jan 2010) of Classic trucks mag it has a full write-up on this truck and some good pics and talk in depth about the subtle mods like how both the tailgate and the back of the cab tip forward to match the hood.the build started in 01 and was just compleated this year its a very good read and a beutiful truck it has a 5.3 ls engine w/4l60e trans and a custom interior and a chop top that uses a stock rear window a guy from Peoria Ill. ownes this sweatheart

Amazing! With so much detail that you have to look for, you really need to stare at this truck for awhile to see it all. Dave, you did a killer job!
