Yep appears to be a lot of hate but I believe its a cultural or ethnicity thing more so than anything else. Your prefernce and what you do to your car is just that. People spend too much time worried about what everyone else is doing with their money and half the time those hating drive a piece of crap! I wasn’t a fan of these high-risers either at first but like some others have said they have grown on me and when done right they look damn good. For the record they did a great job with this one.

Im not the biggest fan of most Donks. But just like any ride…if done tastefully its going to get my love. I have 22′s on my 9c1…and my wheels don’t seem as big to me. Esp in Chicago…with so many rollin’ on 24′s 26′s 28′s and a few 30s…But i love anyone that takes the time and spends their hard earned money on hooking their car up. For the love of Autos and Art.

I’m from the south and here a donk is’nt a big rimmed car it’s a 1971 thru 1976 impala or caprice, and the thing is even if you ride 13s give repect to the car, rims should accent a car, not just be the only good thing about them.

Wrong I hate this things, they look like Monster Trucks and they loose control at anything higher than 25 MPH on a curve. I witnessed one of this road warriors loosing control inside my neighborhood at no more than 30 mph. What this gangsters don’t know is that a car riding this high gets a lot of air so it blows off the road easier.

i give mad props to everyone who likes to ride on big wheels i think they cool to ride in and to look at. i got a 98 marquis and i get looks from everyone. and they good conversation pieces. my wheels are 22 inch they not to big but big enough for me and makes my ride look sweet.

I’m gonna have to agree with JoeCool I think that when done right these cars can look pretty good. but I thought that the term “donk” was for specifically 71-76 Impala’s and Caprice’s or am I wrong?
