LS7-Powered Chevelle

By Jen Dunnaway

Lined up in the Concourse area was a whole slew hopefuls for the upcoming Optima Street Car Invitational, a pro-street faceoff that’ll be taking place November 7th at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Nevada. There was a ton of domestic muscle in this lineup, but this eye-searing green Chevelle, built by The Roadster Shop, was an absolute standout with its ultra-clean LS7. There’s very few times I’ve seen color-matched wheels and satin black trim actually work on a classic car, but this big bowtie nailed the look just about perfectly. Final contestants for the Street Car Invitational will be selected later this week at the SEMA show–watch for the competition to air on SPEED beginning January 30th.

The Green Hornet, Ben10, The Green Lantern, and Riddler all juss placed a call for this car, but I think the Ninja Turtles deserve this car the most. lol I love 70 Chevelles.

I like everything about this…even the color which is really kind of ugly.
