SEMA Best of Show: Ring Brothers '64 Fairlane

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

Best of Show, the award for “outstanding achievement in design,” went to this incredible Ring Brothers ‘64 Fairlane in the BASF booth. The car is powered by a Roush 427, rolls on Forgeline 3-piece wheels, and sports a carbon fiber hood, front and rear bumpers, side air intakes and deck lid spoilers. This was one of the hardest cars to photograph cause it was always mobbed. More pics and a quick video after the jump!

nearly perfect car. stripe color is odd, especially with such a vibrant red. having no stainless, chrome or billet aluminum makes the car look a bit like a cartoon. dont get me wrong the car is beutiful but it doesnt have the same qualities that razor, kona, and reactor have. The ring brothers are relatives of mine, and i was following their work even before chip foose became popular – and anyone could agree their stuff is better

Damn this car is beautiful. If my mind serves me right aren’t these the same guys that built the Razor Camaro.

Love the interior, the engine bay and the colors. I would let it sit a little taller but clearly the maker accomplished his goal.

Wow, what an amazing modernization. It’s kind of bizarre to see my car done up like that, but it’s very cool and very well-done. That interior is absolutely insane.
