Classic Recreations and Shelby Announce GT500CR

Classic Recreations has announced plans for the G.T.500CR, a 1967 Shelby continuation vehicle. All three G.T.500CR models will feature a hand-built 427 cubic inch (7.0L) engine, model specific bodywork, custom paint and hand-stitched upholstery. Every car will have an official Shelby serial number, badges and will be included in the official Shelby Worldwide Registry. Man, I love Shelby’s!!! There’s no games or gimmicks with them, just pure unadulterated testosterone inducing power. Even the new Shelbys are like that, and for that reason, I will always be a fan. Some car nuts fly Ford or Chevy flags, and some fly Mopar. I fly Shelby all the way!!!

They should do more recreation models. That way you could go out and buy a sweet looking track car…and not worry about denting a 40 year old fender.
