Well I am don't think it is good for the sport from a fan stand point, I will give Jimmie credit he is one hell of a driver and a good guy but when someone does what he is doing fans tend to get annoyed of seeing same driver.
I don't like all the bull like if your speeding on pit road your speeding after I watched him do that a few weeks ago and nascar said no penalty I turned off the race. Knowing Jimmie he could have raced his way back into that race he didn't need nascar to step in and help him.
I hate putting nascar down I used to be huge fan of it I bought every thing I could get my hands on that had my driver on it but now I can hardley stand watching a whole race.

I don't see Jimmie Johnson and the 48 team as being robotic at all, they are just that good! I think he's a great guy with a good personality and I'm a fan. One of the best drivers the sport has ever had. You can give the same support and equipment to anyone but that doesn't mean they will go out there and win 4 championships in a row! Good for Jimmie Johnson and good for Hendrick Motor Sports. Congratulations you guys! You've earned it!

Personally I'm a Kenseth fan but over the last couple years Jimmie's personality has made me a fan of him as well, for anyone to pull off what that has deserves credit no matter what. Congratulations, Jimmie earned where he is

Unless the entire race is rigged for him to win, he has skills. He wins fair and square, and thus deserves whatever prizes come at him. However, in my opinion the action, thrill, suspense, the motivation to involve myself in anything is it's unpredictability. I'm sorry but if I know he will win every race he's in, then I will start making bets on who makes 2nd or just stir away from the sport in general to something I will feel is more exhilerating and unprecidented. My point is, there is more support for the action than just support for a side. Green Bay could win every superbowl (don't laugh everyone, I've been loyal to them for years) but I won't care about them if I expect them to win because my greatest passion is not the team, but the sport.
