Cadillac Drops Two Doors in LA
By John Naderi
StreetFire.net
Much like the impending drop top Camaro we knew it was coming, this, the Coupe version of Cadillac’s comely CTS. And there it sat with little fanfare at the LA Auto Show. Our only hint was an invite-only affair on the eve of the show’s press days that apparently we weren’t invited to (that’s okay, we just cuddled up on the couch with some warm tea and a yummy chick flick – French Kiss, if you must know). Hit the jump for more on the CTS Coupe and less on Meg Ryan.

As good looking as the CTS Sedan is the Coupe is just that much hotter (think G37 Sedan vs Coupe). Cadillac refers to this style as its Art and Science design philosophy. We call it all sorts of angular asymmetrical awesome. The Coupe will go on sale in 2010 as a 2011 model and it should be priced no more than 2Gs above a similarly equipped Sedan. And, oh yeah, there is talk of a CTS-V Coupe. We want.

Looks great, but I still prefer my 4-door CTS. Can’t wait to see the stats for the CTS-V coupe should it become reality.

Also agree with mbeezy and 74furyous on this one, it literally looks like an XLR crashed into a Prius!

The slits for windows is being overdone. One downside is the huge slab of sheetmetal along the sides. Agree with Mbeezy3405, they just seem to have given up by the time they got to the rear.

A CTS-V coupe would be a huge rival to the Corvette idk if GM will go through with it.
